WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

♫ The focus of this activity will be on improving playing and note reading skills with enrichment activities that will help each student attain a higher level of musical achievement in a relaxed summer setting.

WHO MAY ATTEND THIS CAMP?

♫  June 11-15 — Elem Grades 3-5—1st Week

♫  June 18-22 — Middle and HS Band and Orchestra— 2nd Week

♫ Any elementary school student in grade 3-5 with interest singing, playing an instrument, world drumming and dance may attend the first week of camp. (June 11-15)

♫ Any middle through high school student that has participated in band or orchestra may attend the one-week advanced camp. (June 18-22)

♫ Band Instruments:  Flute, Clarinet, Alto & Tenor Sax, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion

♫ Orchestra Instruments:  Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass

WHEN IS THE CAMP?

♫ Monday through Friday:  8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.

WHERE IS THE WEEK OF CAMP?

♫ The day camp will be at the Instructional Technology Center for South Fulton (the old Westlake High School) in Atlanta, GA. (2370 Union Road, SW/ Atlanta, GA 30331) Directions

WHAT DO STUDENTS NEED?

♫ Students will need an instrument and a sack lunch.

WHO WILL THE INSTRUCTORS BE?

♫ The staff will be comprised entirely of certified music teachers and professional musicians.

WHAT IS THE COST?

♫ Cost is $225.00 per student for one of the 1-week camps.

♫ Cost is $225.00 per student for  the 2-week beginner camp.

♫ A $75 non-refundable deposit is due with registration form by May 15, 2012.

♫ Remainder of camp fee is due on first day of camp.  Parents that are interested in an installment plan please contact the camp director at 404-434-4440.

♫ There is a $10.00 discount off the total amount for the camp for students that pay by April 15, 2012.

♫ Parents or Guardians will be responsible for dropping off and picking up students

♫ Checks should be made to Camp Allegro.

♫ Insufficient-funds checks will be charged a fee of $25.00.

♫ Fill out the online registration form.

♫ Print and complete the three forms (Registration, Health, and Waiver) and mail to
