WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
♫ The focus of this activity will be on improving playing and note reading skills with enrichment activities that will help each student attain a higher level of musical achievement in a relaxed summer setting.
WHO MAY ATTEND THIS CAMP?
♫ Strengthen & Stretch: June 10-14 — Middle and HS Band and Orchestra – Any middle through high school student that has participated in band or orchestra may attend the one-week advanced camp. *Band Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Alto & Tenor Sax, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion *Orchestra Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
♫ Develop & Discover: June 17-21 — Elem Grades 3-5 – Any elementary school student in grade 3-5 with an interest in Singing, Playing the piano, Playing a band/orchestra instrument, World Drumming or Dance may attend this week of camp.

♫ All students will need a sack lunch.
♫ Band/ Orchestra students will also need to bring an instrument.
♫ Dance students will also need to bring dance gear.
WHO WILL THE INSTRUCTORS BE?
♫ The staff will be comprised of certified music teachers, professional musicians, and student assistants.
WHAT IS THE COST?
♫ Our Board of Directors has approved an Introductory Rate for this year for Develop & Discover of $155 per student.
♫ Strengthen & Stretch is $185 per student.
♫ A $75 non-refundable deposit is due with registration form by June 5, 2013.
♫ Remainder of camp fee is due on first day of camp. Parents that are interested in an installment plan please contact the camp director at 404-434-4440.
♫ Registration Deadline has been extended until June 5, 2013.
♫ Parents or Guardians will be responsible for dropping off and picking up students
♫ Checks should be made out to Allegro Music Camp GA, Inc.
♫ Insufficient-funds checks will be charged a fee of $25.00.
ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS/ DISCOUNTS?
♫ There are partial scholarships for Develop & Discover Students based on academic performance and financial need (free & reduced lunch).
♫ There is a $20 scholarship for Strengthen & Stretch Students that were selected for district honor band or all-state band.
♫ There is an early-bird discount of $25 for students that complete registration with full payment by April 15.
♫ Returning Students will receive a $20 scholarship.
